AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY INFORMATION

What is it, why should I join, and how do I attend?

Each spring semester, the Chemistry Club attends a national American Chemical Society Conference. The American Chemical Society is a network of chemists and people in chemistry-related fields created to advance the field of chemistry for the benefit of everyone. In addition to a national conference, there are also regional meetings and events.

The national conference is a fantastic opportunity for undergraduate chemists to get a look into the world of chemistry. In addition to professors and top researchers giving talks on their research, other chemists, like beer brewers and teachers, give insight into other job opportunities that involve chemistry. Join the CSU Chemistry Club and participate in our Outreach events in order to be a part of this amazing experience!
